“Rocks, Trees, and Gardens: Paintings by Lois Dodd and Ying Li” will open on weekends from 1-5 pm beginning July 10th at rosyendpost, 18 South Street Greenport, NY.
For many years, Lois and Ying have had their focus fixed on the natural world. As close friends, they occasionally venture together into compelling landscapes to explore their unique creative processes, side by side. “Rocks, Trees, and Gardens: Paintings by Lois Dodd and Ying Li,” bring the paintings of these kindred, yet disparate women, into a focus of shared reflection with styles that could hardly be more different, using paint in radically authentic ways.
